About the claim links
A claim link is private to you and can be spent once. Opening it does not spend it: the credit is used at the point you submit the CV or the offer. Keep the email, because the link is the only way back to the credit.
Spending a credit is a separate thing from how long a finished report is kept. Kept 24 months, then deleted. Deletion on request at any time. The CV Evidence Review also keeps one recheck of the revised CV open for 30 days from the review, which is the product's own recheck window rather than a credit.
